About Jackie
Jacqueline’s beginning of employment in her family’s businesses began when she was 14 years
old, interning over the summers at her grandparent’s Bed & Breakfast ‘The Empress of
Little Rock’ cleaning rooms, working high teas and weddings as a server.
Her summers spent working at The Empress prepared her well for her role as Head Innkeeper,
which she took on at 19 years old. While preforming Innkeeping duties, Jacqueline helped out
around Sharon’s insurance practice ‘Empire Financial Architects’ as well, processing service
requests, filing, fetching coffee, and helping out wherever she might be needed.
Jacqueline took over marketing both businesses by creating monthly email newsletters,
establishing a social media presence, and even ran a Groupon for the Bed & Breakfast
that resulted in a packed house every weekend that summer.
She went from working as a server during weddings, tours, and high teas to being the main
event coordinator and making sure each and every detail would satisfy the guests’ (and her
watchful grandmother’s) particular taste.
When the Empress sold to new owners, Jacqueline moved with the business and held a
part-time position at Empire Financial Architects as a service and marketing assistant.
Now in 2021, Jacqueline and her mother Gwendolen continue to uphold Sharon’s 33-year-old
legacy and passion for helping others. They are well on their way to making Empire Financial
Architects the first 3rd Generation, Women Owned & Operated Financial firm in New York
Life history.
